My Green Fedora is a 1935 Warner Bros. Merrie Melodies animated short film directed by Friz Freleng. [3] The short was released on May 4, 1935. [4] It features a song, "I'm Wearin' My Green Fedora," written by songwriters Al Sherman, Al Lewis, and Joseph Meyer specially for this short.
It was featured in the short animated film My Green Fedora, directed by Friz Freleng and produced by Leon Schlesinger. Chuck Jones and Bob Clampett were the animators. The film was released in the United States on May 4, 1935 and is considered one of the best cartoons featuring a parody of comedic actor Joe Penner. [2]
The film was produced in May 1929 and shown by the two to various distributors. The film was first made viewable to the public on Cartoon Network's television special Toonheads: The Lost Cartoons on March 12, 2000, in an edited form. The full cartoon is present on disc 4 of the Looney Tunes Golden Collection: Volume 1 as a special feature.
