Kristoff is a fictional character in Walt Disney Animation Studios' Frozen franchise.He appears in the animated features Frozen (2013) and Frozen II (2019), and the animated short films Frozen Fever (2015), Olaf's Frozen Adventure (2017) and Once Upon a Snowman (2020).
Kristoff seeks to have Pabbie treat Anna since he fears Elsa has injured her, but the trolls think Anna is his steady girlfriend and hence try to marry the two together. The song starts with the trolls asking Anna what is turning her off from dating Kristoff, like "his unmanly blondness" or his tendency to "tinkle in the woods".
At the castle, Kristoff helps Anna get inside, with the castle staff's help, before sadly departing. Inside, Anna reunites Hans again and requests for a kiss from him. However, Hans reveals their engagement was merely a ploy to seize the throne of Arendelle, and mocks her, saying that nobody loves her, leaving Anna hurt and upset at Hans' betrayal.

Later, Anna goes missing and Elsa seeks out Kristoff to help her find Anna. He reveals that she has set out to Misthaven in an effort to prove to Elsa that she was not the cause of her parents' demise. Kristoff also reveals that there is another name for Misthaven – the Enchanted Forest.
Kristoff is able to free himself from the ropes and helps Anna with hers as she grieves. Starting to lose hope, she starts reciting her marriage vows because she wants to be married to Kristoff before she dies. Kristoff stops her, saying that he will only marry her after they escape and continues to comfort her.
Now that Elsa and Anna are back in Arendelle, Elsa, who has reclaimed the kingdom from Hans, is ready to help Anna prepare for her wedding to Kristoff. As Anna put on her gloves, she shows Elsa a painting of their mother and aunts that she found hidden away in the East wing of the castle. Elsa then walks Anna down the aisle.
