An intentionally blank page on a PDF document from the Australian Electoral Commission. The document has 80 printable pages, and content ends on page 77. In digital documents, pages are intentionally left blank so that the document can be printed correctly in double-sided format, rather than have new chapters start on the backs of pages.
This template may be used to indicate that a page has been blanked. Using this notice, rather than an empty page, can be useful where the page is transcluded onto another page. The template takes no parameters.

Navigation pop-ups doesn't have access to the result of parsing the wikitext but makes its own primitive analysis of the source text. It can detect file syntax and certain common infobox parameters like image and logo, but apparently not image1. Unlike Page Previews, it can select images outside the lead. Re: "Standardized tests", the blank page notice is used more often than just between separately timed test sections. Sometimes it is necessary to begin a new question on the left-hand page so that a diagram/map/picture is visible when reading the questions that follow. This may cause the previous right-hand page to be blank.
