The 2008 GXP used alcoa knockoff wheels with silver center caps. Several new colors were also added for the 2008 model year. The Pontiac Grand Prix was replaced by the G8 for the 2008–2009 model year. Production of the larger G8, however, ended in June 2009. The Pontiac brand was dissolved in 2010 as part of GM's Chapter 11 reorganization.
