The Pentecostal Assemblies of Jesus Christ (PAJC) is one of the oldest active Oneness Pentecostal organizations in the world. Two of the largest Oneness Pentecostal organizations, United Pentecostal Church International and Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, were once part of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Jesus Christ and a third, the International Circle of Faith, traces its roots to the PAJC.
WHKC (91.5 MHz) is a non-profit FM radio station in Columbus, Ohio. It is owned by Christian Broadcasting Services and airs a Christian talk and teaching radio format , calling itself "Freedom FM." National religious leaders heard on WHKC include Dr. Charles Stanley , Alistair Begg , Joyce Meyer , David Jeremiah , Adrian Rogers and Jim Daly .
Restorationists such as Bernard and Norris deny any direct link between the church of the Apostolic Age and the current Oneness movement, believing that modern Oneness Pentecostalism is a total restoration originating from a step-by-step separation within Protestantism culminating in the final restoration of the early apostolic church. The Pentecostal Ministerial Alliance voted to merge with the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ, but the terms of the proposed merger were rejected by that body. Nevertheless, a union between the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ and the PAW was consummated in November 1931. The new body retained the name of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World.
Simpson and other Alliance leaders were cautiously receptive to the new movement. In the spring of 1907, the Alliance's annual council was convinced "that God [was] now visiting His people in many places with a special manifestation of power". [34] Throughout the summer of 1907, aspects of the Pentecostal revival were on display at CMA events.
