Padjadjaran University (Indonesian: Universitas Padjadjaran; (Sundanese: ᮅᮔᮤᮗᮨᮁᮞᮤᮒᮞ᮪ ᮕᮏᮏᮛᮔ᮪), abbreviated as UNPAD) is a public university located in Sumedang Regency and Bandung, which is the provincial capital of West Java, Indonesia. It was established on 11 September 1957.
The entire city was turned into a giant garbage dump ("kota sampah"). The mayor of Bandung was unable to solve the problem and the governor of West Java was forced to search for new garbage dumpsites. Fortunately the problem is solved now.
