Zettler Hardware Co. (founded by Zettler in 1886) moved into the space in 1925, occupying it until 1940. The hardware company moved into another space downtown, and has since expanded to several locations around Central Ohio. The business is still owned by the Zettler family, and is the oldest hardware retailer in Columbus.
Cleveland entrepreneurs William Bingham and Henry C. Blossom purchased the Clark & Murfey hardware store in 1841, and incorporated it as the W. Bingham Co. in 1888. [2] In April 1913, the W. Bingham Co. announced it would construct a new building in the city's Warehouse District as its new headquarters. [3]

The Kidron Elementary School was recently torn down (2014), however a new school building (in Dalton) for kindergarten through 8th grade was just built and used in the 2014–2015 school year. Central Christian School is a private K–12 school located in Kidron, and is owned and operated by the Ohio Conference of the Mennonite Church.
