1. Most Romance languages, not only Spanish, call all of them "fingers", and if more is needed, "fingers of the foot". French may be the only one using a derived from ARTICULUS, orteils, for the toes. It seems that the word can also mean "toes" in Portuguese (artelhos) and Occitan (artèlhs), but I'd say it's not as common as in French.
