The 2023–24 season was the 131st season in the existence of Newcastle United and the club's seventh consecutive season in the Premier League. In addition to the domestic league , they also competed in the FA Cup , EFL Cup and UEFA Champions League , entering the latter for the first time since the 2003–04 season .
