The Civil Services of Tamil Nadu (Tamil: தமிழ்நாடு குடியியல் பணிகள்) (known simply as the Civil Services) refer to the civil service and the permanent bureaucracy of the Government of Tamil Nadu.
The Tamil Nadu Council of Ministers is the executive wing of the Government of Tamil Nadu and is headed by the State's Chief Minister M. K. Stalin, who is the head of government and leader of the state cabinet. The current state council of ministers were sworn in on 7 May 2021, following the 2021 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election. The Department of Water Resources is one of the departments of Government of Tamil Nadu. The department was split from the Public works department in June 2021 and is responsible for the management and conservation of water bodies in the state. [1]
