In Telangana, the Shasana Sabha or Legislative Assembly, has 119 constituencies. 19 constituencies are reserved for the Scheduled Castes candidates and 12 constituencies [1] are reserved for the Scheduled tribes candidates.
Telangana legislative assembly came into existence with 119 seats in June 2014 with the formation of Telangana. Medipally Sathyam (born 5 June 1980) is an Indian politician in the state of Telangana. [1] In the 2023 general election he was elected as MLA representing Indian National Congress from Choppadandi constituency in Telangana. [2] [3] He lost the 2014 election on a TDP ticket and the 2018 polls on a Congress ticket. [4]
