The Sports Hub was a public-private partnership with SportsHub Pte Ltd, [7] which is made up of four companies namely InfraRed Capital Partners, Dragages Singapore, DTZ Facilities and Engineering and Global Spectrum Asia. [8] SHPL was engaged in 2008 [8] and has a 25-year contract to design, build, finance and operate the Sports Hub. [9]

Hub Sports Arena, formerly SuperSports Arena, was a Singaporean television sports channel operated by StarHub, available on StarHub TV. It broadcasts coverage of sporting events such as Lions 12 (M-League) and S-League. Hub Sports Arena ceased transmission on 28 December 2018.
Sport Singapore was founded on 1 October 1973 as the Singapore Sports Council (SSC), through the merger of the National Sports Promotion Board (NSPB) and the National Stadium Corporation (NSC). [1] On 1 April 2014, the SSC was renamed Sport Singapore in a rebranding exercise.

In 2007, its collection was temporarily moved to the Singapore Sports Council's (SSC) temporary office and heritage corners of selected SSC sports and recreation centres such as Jurong West and Sengkang, while a new iteration of the museum was constructed as part of the Singapore Sports Hub project, originally expected to be completed by 2011. The former Singapore National Stadium was a multi-purpose stadium in Kallang, which opened in July 1973 and closed on 30 June 2007.The stadium was demolished from 2010 to 2011 for the development of the Singapore Sports Hub, which houses its successor.
