Unity Park (Amharic: አንድነት ፓርክ) is an amusement park located in Arat Kilo district of Addis Ababa, in the compound of National Palace.Established in October 2019, it features a zoo and historical artifacts.
The Adwa 00KM Museum (Amharic: አድዋ 00 ሙዚየም) is a public historical museum located in Piasa, Arada district, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.Inaugurated on 11 February 2024, the museum is dedicated to the Battle of Adwa, the battle of the First Italo-Ethiopian War where Italian forces defeated by the Ethiopian Army in 1896.
This cultural center was originally built as azmari bet (In English "House of Azmaris", the Amharic name for an Ethiopian traditional music house). [1]Due to changes caused by urban development of Addis Ababa, Fendika remained one of the last folk music houses in Kazanchis neighbourhood in 2008.
The park has an artificial lake, a square to gather and also water fountain lights at nighttime. It also contains lots of flowers with diverse species of flora. The project has helped Addis Ababa to become greener, which has enabled the city to enter Bloomberg's 2022 "Best Climate Projects" in C40 Cities Bloomberg Philanthropies Awards. [3]
The New York Times Magazine called it "a voluptuous dream, a swirl of ancient technique and ecstatic imagination". The house is the home of ZCAC Addis and features a showroom and a studio for visiting artists. In 2014, the New York Times selected ZCAC's photo for their article about 52 places to go in 2014. [5]

The Menelik Palace, also known as the Imperial Palace or Great Ghebbi, is a palatial compound in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Previously for years was known as the Gebbi, [1] it was the seat of the power of the Emperors of Ethiopia. Within its confines (now called Unity Park) are several residences, halls, chapels, and working buildings. [2]
