Mark Proksch (/ ˈ p r ʊ k ʃ / PRUUKSH; born 1978 or 1979) [1] [2] is an American comedian and character actor.He is best known for acting in the television series The Office, Better Call Saul, Dream Corp LLC, What We Do in the Shadows and as a fictionalized version of himself in the On Cinema universe.
[1] In 1968, Crawford read for Dark Shadows, but simultaneously was offered a part in Sam's Song (1969) with Robert De Niro and took the movie job. When the movie ended, she was asked to play the part of Beth Chavez, the Collins family maid, in Dark Shadows. She left the show after November 1969, but returned in 1970 to play Edith Collins.
Birney was best known for his roles on St. Elsewhere and Bridget Loves Bernie. Meredith Baxter was Birney's co-star on the latter TV series, and was married to the actor from 1974 to 1989.
