Megumi Fushiguro (Japanese: 伏黒 恵, Hepburn: Fushiguro Megumi) is a fictional character of the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen created by Gege Akutami.He is a first-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High, an academy to become a Jujutsu Sorcerer and develop Cursed Techniques to fight against Cursed Spirits, beings manifested from Cursed Energy due to negative emotions flowing from humans.
When ingested by any human, a Death Painting Womb can incarnate into a full half-human half-Cursed Spirit hybrid capable of using Jujutsu, which can be anyone, even a human with zero innate talent or the potential to become a sorcerer. Fully incarnated Death Painting Wombs are considered on the level of a Special-Grade Cursed spirit.
In a mission to contain a Special Grade Cursed Spirit, Yuji and his colleagues are greatly endangered, so the young sorcerer gives Sukuna control of his body, to defeat his assailant. Sukuna destroys the opponent, but seizes the moment of freedom to rip out Yuji's heart, and attempts to kill Fushiguro, becoming very interested in the latter.
