It is currently aired weekly every Thursday at 20:00 (CET) and 14:00 (EST) and as of January 2021, ASOT is broadcast by more than 150 stations in 84 countries claiming a weekly listener count surpassing 40 million.

4 Strings is a Dutch vocal trance group. The group was founded by Carlo Resoort and Jan De Vos. Their biggest success came with the track "Take Me Away (Into the Night)", which peaked at number 15 in the UK Singles Chart in May 2002. [1] In total, 4 Strings had five different singles in the UK chart between December 2000 and July 2004. [2]
On 14 March 2008 "Sirens of the Sea" (Above & Beyond Club Mix) premiered on Trance Around the World Episode #207. It was presented as one of the new singles for the upcoming album. Prior to this, "Sirens of the Sea" ( Kyau & Albert Remix) was released on Above and Beyond' s Anjunabeats Volume 3 .

When ID&T Radio changed genres in 2004, Van Buuren moved A State of Trance to Fresh FM and later SLAM!FM, two Dutch radio stations. It is now a weekly feature on Radio 538, the Dutch radio station, [35] DI.FM, an online radio station, [36] and on XM Satellite Radio, channel 52 in the United States and Canada. [37]
