The XUV300 is powered by a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine with 6-speed manual transmission. A 6-speed automatic variant is also now available. The new petrol engine co-developed by Ssangyong delivers 110 hp (82 kW; 112 PS) of power and 200 N⋅m (148 lb⋅ft; 20 kg⋅m) of torque.
