MeeSeva was launched in 2011 in Chittoor District. Previously it is e-Seva, started in 1999 in Hyderabad with 1 service center to the citizens. e-Seva is perhaps the best example and one of the earliest attempts to take the benefits of e-governance to citizens.

The APCRDA was formerly known as AMDA and the former was VGTM Urban Development Authority (VGTM UDA), which was formed in 1978 with an area of 1,954 km 2 (754 sq mi). [1] In 2012, it was expanded to 7,063 km 2 (2,727 sq mi). [2] Post bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, it was defunct and was renamed as APCRDA. [3]
