So I have the Asrock x399 Taichi, and I noticed it has some rgb on it. However, I can’t find the Asrock rgb software online. I installed ASUS Aura, but it didn’t recognize my motherboard. There's a bunch of software listed there but look for the ASRock RGB LED. Also, the Aura software by Asus is only for Asus mobo. I see it.
Go to asrock.com and search for your motherboard. On the motherboards site, click support and then downloads. There should be a download link for polychrome. ASRock Live Update & App Shop has one. The link therein for audio drivers also was a big improvement for me. But then, uninstall.
I was able to set the colors for the components I have easily enough, but after a while the UX felt a bit sluggish. OpenRGB seems to work fairly well with ASRock and many components, but I can't say it's my favorite piece of software either. Good RGBA software really shouldn't be this hard. 1. RevLee69.
Uninstall Asrock Polychrome software. Turn off your PC. Unplug the power cable. Wait for 5 m. Turn on your PC again. Install Asrock Polychrome software. Open Cmd type " cd C:\Program Files (x86)\ASRock Utility\ASRRGBLED\Bin " , press enter. Type again " WriteFW.bat " , Press enter. Wait until done, after done close cmd.
Look for the ASRock Polychrome RGB ver:2.0.96 (latest working version at time of writing this - July 2021). Again, based on your model, it will be different, just make sure it's the latest working version. Download the software. Make sure you have uninstalled all previous versions of Polychrome. Once uninstalled, reboot just to be on the safe side.

Type "CMD" in search bar and right click to choose "Run as administrator". 4. Go to RGB app installation folder by typing "cd C:\Program Files (x86)\ASRock Utility\ASRRGBLED\Bin". 5. Flash the RGB chip using the following command "WriteFW.bat". After step 5, kindly wait about 30 sec and the FW flash will be finished.
