New Farm Loch (Scottish Gaelic: Loch Tuathanais Ùr) is a suburb to the North-East of Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, Scotland and was created in the late 1960s by a number of builders to accommodate the growing population of Kilmarnock.
The flat topped bungalows at 28 to 30 Main Street were designed by Sam Brunton and built using new prefabrication techniques in 1943 from gyproc. [1] Hareshawmuir Lodge was originally built as an Edwardian shooting lodge, however it has been much modified. [1] It was the property of the Earl of Glasgow in 1867 and had been so since 1687.

Carnell House is a mansion house and estate near the village of Hurlford about 5 miles (8.0 km) south-east of Kilmarnock in South Ayrshire, Scotland, 25 miles (40 km) from Glasgow. Carnell was previously known as Cairn Hill and dates back to 1276.
