    If you are adding wheels, I would ditch the angle feet with square tube, because with wheels attached to the angle, they will want to twist a lot when you move the press around.     Just bought a 20 ton press the other day from good ol HF and was surprised to see they upgraded arbor plates. Do these look like cast junk to anyone else? Sure don't to me :smokin: If this is old news, has anyone had problems with the new plates bending or breaking? They come in at a little under 7/8" thick (.860")

    Harbor Freight 50 ton press parts. I have a harbor frieght 50 ton 2 speed press that now leaks down, so it's in need of a rebuild. Any idea where to get parts? 71 Bronco. 42's and bolt on goats. 47' CJ2a, 302, C4, 33's. 2012, year of the flat fender.

    Now, when heavy pressure is applied, the side panels shift (twist) and scare me. It gets heavy use. The 20 ton press, although the numbers may not suggest, is more than twice the press the the 12 ton is. It is substantially more beefy. If the money isn't gonna take food out of your mouth, I'd get the 20.

    The press height, with casters is just over 7 feet, and the width, inside the rails is 23.5 inches, with an overall width of 27.5 inches. I built it tall, becuase I'm tall. And when stuff explodes on my press, I prefer that it hit me in the face. :laughing:
