Since winning their first Donegal SHC title in 1952, the club has come to dominate the championship. From 1991 to 2006, Burt won a record 16 titles in-a-row. It is located close to central Letterkenny in County Donegal. The ground takes its name from a railway bridge "The Dry Arch" which was situated about 1 km from the pitch.
