It is one of seven resorts in the Disney Springs Resort Area not owned or operated by Disney. The hotel is connected to Disney Springs by pedestrian skybridges, as well as a shuttle service to all the Disney Parks. [1]

The hotel joined Wyndham Hotels and Resorts on November 9, 2010, and became the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista. [4] The two low-rise wings of the hotel are operated as a budget hotel, the Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs Resort Area, which shares facilities with the main hotel.
