Eagle County Charter Academy is a K-8 charter school located in Edwards, Colorado. [2] It opened in the 1994 school year with grades 5–7, adding 8th grade the next year, 1-4 by 2001 and Kindergarten in 2004. [3] It has been recognized as a John Irwin School of Excellence. [4]

The school was originally built in 1975 in the town of Eagle-Vail. Prior to that, it was a combined middle school/high school near Battle Mountain Pass, close to the town of Minturn. In 2010, it was relocated to a new campus further west in the town of Edwards. It continues to serve as one of Eagle County's primary high schools today.
