European route E10 is the second shortest Class A road which is part of the International E-road network. It begins in Å, Norway, and ends in Luleå, Sweden. The road is about 850 kilometres (530 mi) in length. The Norwegian part of the road is also named Kong Olav Vs vei (transl. King Olav V's road).
The road was first formed during the 1870s. [1] From the 1940s to the 1970s there were proposals for a railway line, the Haywards–Plimmerton Line, via this route.. [2] M-35 was originally planned to start in Menominee and run north to Big Bay, turn west through the Huron Mountains in northern Marquette County and run west from Baraga to Ontonagon. [ 9 ]
M-5 was used as the designation for the former US 2 in Mackinac and Chippewa counties until 1939, when it was redesignated as M-129 on maps. [ 2 ] [ 12 ] The last gravel sections of roadway were paved in 1960 south of Sault Ste. Marie, [ 13 ] and the highway was truncated to end at M-134 in Cedarville in 1963. [ 14 ]

M-25 is a state trunkline highway in the US state of Michigan. The route follows an arc-like shape closely along the Lake Huron shore of the Thumb in the eastern Lower Peninsula between Port Huron and Bay City. It serves the lakeshore resorts along Lake Huron and Saginaw Bay and generally lies within sight of the lake and the bay.
