The main rifle that has been chambered in this caliber is the Marlin model 444! There have been a number of variations over the years. The original was a 24 inch barrel. The 444S went to 22". Today there is the 444XLR which is a stainless and grey laminate. Winchester also chambered a lever action rifle in this caliber.
