Tenko's Quirk, "Decay", manifests, killing his entire family one by one, even his mother as she attempts to comfort him. He attempts to beg his father for help, but Kotaro panics and attacks him, scarring Tenko's face. Enraged, Tenko jumps on his father and purposely kills him with his Decay.
During the killing game, Tenko takes a liking to her, even though she doesn't realize it yet until after her death. Before Tenko is killed, she gives Himiko a piece of advice to express her emotions more often, and so she does. Her personality drastically changes to an optimistic go-getter.
