Then Play On is the third studio album by the British blues rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on 19 September 1969.It was the first of their original albums to feature Danny Kirwan (although two tracks recorded with him were included on the compilation album The Pious Bird of Good Omen released earlier in 1969) and the last with Peter Green.
The 1967–1969 era Blue Horizon albums (Fleetwood Mac, Mr. Wonderful, The Pious Bird of Good Omen, and Fleetwood Mac in Chicago) and the 1971 outtakes album The Original Fleetwood Mac have been remastered and reissued on CD, as have the 1975–1987 era Warner Bros. studio albums (Fleetwood Mac, Rumours, Tusk, Mirage, and Tango in the Night).
The band then underwent several more changes in personnel, with the final lineup, beginning in November 2018, consisting of Fleetwood, John and Christine McVie, Nicks, lead guitarist Mike Campbell and rhythm guitarist and singer Neil Finn. Christine McVie died in 2022, after which Nicks stated that the band would not continue without her.
