Ryomen Sukuna (Japanese: 両面 宿儺, Hepburn: Ryōmen Sukuna) is a fictional character and one of the central antagonists of the manga and anime series Jujutsu Kaisen created by Gege Akutami. A Heian Era sorcerer, he was once known notoriously as the King of Curses and well known as the greatest Sorcerer to ever live.
Junpei's mother is killed overnight when one of Sukuna's fingers, planted by Mahito, attracts cursed spirits. Mahito convinces Junpei that one of his school bullies, Shota Ito, did this, planning to lure in Yuji so they can get Sukuna on their side. Yuji arrives at Junpei's school just before Junpei can kill Ito.

The story follows high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers in order to kill a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, to which Yuji becomes host. The first season was produced by MAPPA and directed by Sunghoo Park .
Whenever Sukuna possesses Yuji, characteristic tattoos form on Yuji's body and two extra eyes open on Itadori's cheeks. Satoru Gojo claims he can beat a fully-restored Sukuna, but the latter has expressed a desire to kill him, and his power is such that all other Cursed Spirits are attempting to restore him.
Mahoraga knocks him out. Sukuna saves Haruta as he recognizes the ritual; Megumi will be in a death-like state until Mahoraga is either defeated or kills him and Haruta. Intending to use Megumi for his future plans, Sukuna faces the shikigami himself to save him. The two proceed in a destructive battle that further devastates Shibuya.
