Psalm 147 is the 147th psalm of the Book of Psalms, beginning in English in the King James Version, "Praise ye the L ORD: for it is good to sing praises".In the slightly different numbering system used in the Greek Septuagint version of the Bible, and in the Latin Vulgate/Vulgata Clementina, this psalm is divided into Psalm 146 and Psalm 147.
Psalm 146 is the 146th psalm of the Book of Psalms, beginning in English in the King James Version, "Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul". Praise the LORD, O my soul". In Latin, it is known as " Lauda anima mea Dominum ".
The Psalms of the two versions are numbered differently. The Vulgate follows the Septuagint numbering, while the King James Version follows the numbering of the Masoretic Text.
