WOR (710 AM) is a 50,000-watt class A clear-channel AM radio station owned by iHeartMedia and licensed to New York, New York.The station airs a mix of local and syndicated talk radio shows, primarily from co-owned Premiere Networks, including The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show, The Sean Hannity Show, and Coast to Coast AM with George Noory.

In 1942 Gladstone left WHN to become a news broadcaster for WOR (AM) with whom he remained until his retirement 35 years later in 1977. [1] During World War II he narrated several documentaries for The March of Time, and after the war he worked primarily as WOR's United Nations correspondent. [1]
Channel 9 signed on the air on October 11, 1949, as WOR-TV. It was owned by the Bamberger Broadcasting Service (a division of R. H. Macy and Company and named after the Bamberger's department store chain), which also operated WOR (710 AM) and WOR-FM (98.7 FM, now WEPN-FM). [5]
