SafetySuit is an American rock band from Tulsa, Oklahoma, currently based in Nashville, Tennessee.Their 2008 major label debut album Life Left to Go featured songs "Stay" and "Someone Like You", the former first achieving fame by climbing to No. 1 on the VH1 Top 20 Video Countdown.
These Times is the second studio album by American rock band SafetySuit, released on January 10, 2012, through Universal Republic Records. The album follows their 2008 debut Life Left to Go . The accompanying music video for "Superman" features pornographic actress Gina Lynn. Shannon Elizabeth was Eminem's first choice, although this never came to fruition as they could not come to terms. A music video was released on April 23, 2009, directed by Zack Merck. The video starts off with Doug Brown in a room with a bloody mouth. It then shows Doug with a woman driving a car on a desert road. It switches to this story and the band playing outside a motel throughout the video. Later on in the video, they are in a room at the motel.
"Sing for the Moment" was the first song Eminem wrote for the album. [2] It contains samples of the song "Dream On" by the rock band Aerosmith.Joe Perry plays the guitar solo at the end of the song, and a sample of Steven Tyler singing is used as the chorus for this song.
