A2Z Group is an engineering, procurement and construction company, headquartered in Gurgaon, India, in Haryana state. It was founded in 2002 and, by 2011, had more than 31,000 staff members. [ 2 ] The company has clients in the retail, government, infraservices and renewable energy sectors.
IMC Global (also known as International Minerals and Chemical Corporation and Imcera) was a mining and production company, formerly listed on the S&P MidCap 400. [2] It was founded in 1909 as International Agricultural Corporation. [ 3 ]
The company was owned by Resource Capital Funds, Pegasus Partners IV, LP, The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., Traxys North America LLC and Carint Group LLC. [7] On July 29, 2010, Molycorp, Inc., a newly established parent company of Molycorp Minerals LLC, became a publicly traded firm by selling 28,125,000 shares at $14 in its IPO.
In December 2014 the mine closed as the company filed for bankruptcy. [2] On January 20, 2015, it was reported that Origin Mining Company, a subsidiary of the Canadian company Waterton Global Resources who also own Elko Mining Group and Carlin Resources LLC in Nevada, had purchased the property.
