Atezolizumab, sold under the brand name Tecentriq among others, is a monoclonal antibody medication used to treat urothelial carcinoma, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), small cell lung cancer (SCLC), hepatocellular carcinoma and alveolar soft part sarcoma, [9] [11] but discontinued for use in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). The study enrolled 34 patients, 28 of which underwent surgery to resect the PDAC. 19 of the patients who had undergone surgery then received atezolizumab, an immune checkpoint inhibitor. 16 of the patients on atezolizumab then received autogene cevumeran. 1 patient was considered to have insufficiently many neoantigens to manufacture the vaccine.
