The Seven Deadly Sins is a Japanese anime television series based on the manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Nakaba Suzuki. [1] [2] The series follows Elizabeth, the third princess of the Kingdom of Liones, who is in search of the Seven Deadly Sins, a group of former Holy Knights who were disbanded after the kingdom was overthrown.
Meliodas, Ban, King and Gowther jump down after Hendrickson, finding him injecting himself with the blood from the corpse of a gray demon to evolve into a new form, easily overpowering the knights upon returning to the surface. Hawk returns to the Boar Hat and eats food scraps made by Ban. Nonetheless, Meliodas cheats Ban by officially capturing Hawk, and is declared the winner as a result. At night, Meliodas takes Elizabeth back to the palace while also assuring that his purpose in life is to protect her. Meliodas then goes to the catacombs to see the Horn of Cernunnos.
The others watch the fight on the crystal ball, Meliodas having the upper hand by quickly crippling one Commandant to fight the other. The battle attracts the other surviving Commandments, including a still-burnt Melascula and Meliodas's brothers: Estarossa of Love and Zeldris of Piety.

Awestruck by the sights of Liones, Percival wanders away from his friends and eventually meets Meliodas, who continues to run the Boar's Hat tavern in addition to his duties as king. Meliodas requests Percival's help in saving Britannia, explaining that the Four Knights of the Apocalypse were chosen to save the world rather than destroy it.
Meliodas and Escanor faced of each other in a grave battle. Meliodas was immensely strong, but Escanor was too much overpowered as the time was high noon. After Meliodas and Escanor's fierce battle at Coland concludes, the Seven Deadly Sins take the injured Meliodas to Camelot as they try to go for king Arthur help.
