William P. Bless (May 27, 1939 – May 6, 2016) was an American football and track coach. He is best known for his long tenure as head football coach at the University of Indianapolis (UIndy), where he led the Greyhound program from 1972 to 1993, compiling a record of 114–99–9.
Each of these teams posted at least ten victories, and they remain five of the six most victorious teams in Greyhound football history. He was named GLVC coach of the year in 2012, 2013, 2015, and 2017.
Popa retired from professional basketball in 2001. He served 4 seasons as assistant coach of the University of Indianapolis Greyhound Women's basketball team, before becoming head coach in April 2011.
