Maharaja Sir Padma Shumsher Jung Bahadur Rana (Nepali: पद्म शम्शेर जङ्गबहादुर राणा; 5 December 1882 – Calcutta, India, 11 April 1961) [citation needed] was the hereditary prime minister of Nepal and Maharaja of Lamjung and Kaski from 29 November 1945 to 30 April 1948 as the head of the Rana dynasty. He is the son of former Major General Aditya Shumsher Jang Bahadur Rana and is married to Rohini Rana. The couple has two daughters, two grandsons and two granddaughters. [3]
