[16] [17] The anime series was produced in 2000, by Studio Pierrot, and directed by Noriyuki Abe. The series was planned by Kenji Shimizu, Ryūzō Shirakawa, and Yuji Nunokawa. The producers were Yuriko Nakamura, Hideo Katsumata, and Ken Hagino. Masaya Ōnishi designed the characters and Shigenori Takada was the art director.
