  2. Finger Tracking Issues? Here's a quick fix/calibration video...

    www.reddit.com/r/ValveIndex/comments/c7ttbc/finger_tracking_issues_heres_a_quick

dimanor3. • 5 yr. ago. I find that it's a lot easier to just run your fingers once or twice up the controller from pinkie to thumb and back while they're turning on. It's mostly worked flawlessly from that. But great video that's super helpful. You can also restart the controllers to recalibrate them if necessary. 4.

  3. I type with only my Index Fingers : r/typing - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/typing/comments/jkvvr1/i_type_with_only_my_index_fingers

While you should definitely be typing with more than two fingers, you don't need all 10. I type with 8 fingers, or 7 if you don't count the left thumb (which I rarely actually use for space, I have this weird preference for the right thumb) I can consistently go ~100wpm or above on Typeracer. That being said, you should definitely learn to type ...

  4. 100+ WPM with only index fingers : r/learntyping - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/learntyping/comments/kx6wwl/100_wpm_with_only_index_fingers

100+ WPM with only index fingers. Hey guys, I never learned how to touch type, and never really spent any amount of time practising typing. I've just played video games for a long time, and text a lot of people on discord. One of my friends told me to go on monkey type and we will see who can get higher wpm; I got 117 (15 seconds) he got 94.

  5. How normal is it to type with only with only index fingers?

    www.reddit.com/r/typing/comments/1cfl8ye/how_normal_is_it_to_type_with_only...

I had a index pairs to 4-ish finger typing style for 30 years. The problem is that even if you have perfect motion and accuracy, speed hits a mechanical plateau when your hand has to travel to each key, it's also hard on your joints as you age, typing impact speed is higher with a "peck" motion. On top of this phisics limitation my typing style ...

In the new episode of Curb, Larry mentions an article about using index fingers to put on shoes He says the article claims due to evolution, over time our index fingers will become shoehorns. Perhaps eventually Isosceles Kramer V will have the shoe horn hands her great, great, great, great, grandfather always wanted.

  7. Fingers or thumbs to play? : r/ProjectSekai - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/ProjectSekai/comments/rp3zns/fingers_or_thumbs_to_play

In other rhythm games I usually use fingers, but I got super comfortable with thumbs in sekai. I feel like thumbs are slower than fingers though, so doing high level expert songs/master are a bit tough with them. Looking forward to seeing what everyone says! Closed • 599 total votes. 8. Finger tracking alternative : r/skyrimvr - Reddit

It can't tell if you splay your fingers, for example, because the index controllers simply don't have that capability. Insofar as the index controllers are capable of tracking fingers, they move in-game. I assumed you meant tracking all five fingers, since you specifically mentioned that it was only tracking your thumb, middle, and index fingers.

The claw grip is a must, pointer fingers on the bumpers, middle fingers on the triggers. Controllers are deigned for this imo, I used to just use my index fingers for both, but as I’ve grown up the claw grip is a perfect fit and just makes sense.

Mine act the same way regarding the distance of fingers needed from the controller before the virtual fingers start to bend. I thought it was normal. The virtual fingers don't start to bend until my real world fingers are about a centimeter away from the grip, then they start to curve in.

  11. 26 and still type with my index fingers lol... help! : r/typing -...

    www.reddit.com/.../wci7e7/26_and_still_type_with_my_index_fingers_lol_help

I couldn't type. I used my two index fingers and my two middle fingers and I hit the spacebar with my right index finger and I had to look at the keyboard for roughly 50% of the time that I spent typing. I'd estimate that I could sustain around 35 wpm for about 20 seconds using this "homebrewed" style of typing.
