We were fully clothed at all times. Even as a kid, "naked time" wasn't an option - shirts on preferably all the time in the house, but absolutely at the dinner table for the guys. Shirts on at all times for the girls. I plan on the same way for us. FI likes hanging out in boxers, and I just get really uncomfortable.
I have to wear panties, just a personal preference. They're not going to be massaging my butt. I'm not even a big fan of them massaging my legs, usually it just tickles too much. All of the places I've gone say it's up to you how much you wish to undress. You will be covered by a sheet.
I have never used maternity underwear. I wore my regular underwear and I was pretty Huge by the end with both my girls. A couple pair got stretched out but no big deal. I did buy some cotton undies from walmart or target for like $10 a pack for in the hospital because I knew they would just get gross.
We have the same rules. No panties, no parents backstage. I'm not terribly thrilled about it, personally. ETA: The no panties thing doesn't bother me in itself. I never have her wear panties under her tights to dance class. My issue is that some mother I've never met is going to be stripping my child down.
I plan on wearing them on them until the girls are old enough to tell me they don't want them anymore. They don't cover up with a blanket at night yet, so having them in the footed pjs in the winter just keeps them warm all over since they just don't get using a blanket for anything, but throwing out of the crib and onto the floor.
There is a difference, but I think you can get away with using DSs jeans on DDI just wouldn't go the other way around. Trust me, MIL unknowingly buys girls jeans for DS, then has him wear them when he visits her... I can spot them when he's wearing them from a mile away :
As they fall down, so do my panties. So, I just wear my regular ones as much as I can. I've also found that if the top of the back band of the undies hits at the same place as the top of the back band (meaning the "real" part of the back of the pants) of the maternity pants, then the pull down is worse.
Where we live it ends up being opposite. Shorts, skirts and dresses can be worn from mid March to late October/early November.
This is the crib that DH and I fell in love with in the store (Chocolate color)-- I plan on using it for a boy but feel it could be gender neutral for girls/boys. We plan on also purchasing the matching dresser/changing combo..
