I was looking to switch over to YT Music, as I wanted the ability to be able to cast my uploads, however unfortunately there are several shortfalls of YT Music that has pushed me back to Spotify. Limit of 5000 songs per playlist. For people like me with 9000 songs in a playlist, this is an annoying limit.

    It works in YouTube Music on the laptop. The only problem is that it doesn't display the controller in YouTube Music (it displays correctly in YouTube). EDIT: The controller does display if a video is playing, but I prefer just the audio, not the video, in YT Music.

    Spotify and YT Music is about the same, with Tidal HiFi significantly better. And you do not need audiophile grade equipment to hear it, just normal good stuff. Neither do you need golden ears -- my old ears are not hearing much above 11kHz, and still the difference is crystal clear to me, and I can do a blind test any time.
