Muñoz was promoted to Rayo's reserves in Tercera Federación for the 2022–23 season, [3] and signed his first professional contract with the club on 20 May 2022. [4] He made his first team – and professional – debut with Rayo as a late substitute in a 1–1 La Liga tie with Atlético Madrid on 18 October 2022.
On 3 August 2022, Camello renewed his contract with Atleti until 2026, and moved to fellow top tier Rayo Vallecano on loan for the season. [8] He scored his first goal in the top tier on 3 October, netting the equalizer in a 2–1 home win over Elche CF. On 17 August 2023, Camello signed a permanent four-year deal with Rayo. [9]
