Tank Overhaul is a Canadian documentary television program broadcast on the Military Channel (now American Heroes Channel) starting in 2007. Episodes are filmed at the Isle of Wight Military Museum as well as other organizations specializing in military history vehicle restoration and preservation .
The producers set up a series of obstacles at a tank test track to simulate a full year's worth of wear and tear. A tire dragging test involved a steep hill, followed by a suspension test through a series of bumpy dips, and a water splash test through three feet of water. A benchmark time of 3 minutes and 56 seconds by a tank was set.
