Alexandria (Romanian pronunciation: [alekˈsandri.a] ⓘ) is the capital city of the Teleorman County, Muntenia, Romania. It is located south-west of Bucharest , towards the Bulgarian border, and has over 40,000 inhabitants.
Videle is located 49 km (30 mi) northeast of the county seat, Alexandria and 66 km (41 mi) west of Bucharest.It is crossed by county roads DJ503 and DJ601.. The town is of some importance as a railway junction, for the railway track heading south to Giurgiu and Bulgaria leaves the main Wallachian East-West-railway from Bucharest to Craiova.
The motorway is structured in three sections: București - Alexandria (77.02 km), Alexandria - Craiova (118 km) and Craiova - Calafat (98 km). Feasibility studies for Bucharest - Alexandria section have been tendered.

Călugăreni is a commune located in Giurgiu County, Muntenia, Romania. It is composed of five villages: Brăniștari, Călugăreni, Crucea de Piatră, Hulubești, and Uzunu. The commune is situated in the Wallachian Plain, at an altitude of 53 m (174 ft), on the banks of the Neajlov River and its right tributaries, the Câlniștea and the Iordana.
In the past, the Brașov - Bacău (Răcăciuni) motorway (162 km) used to be labelled A5. [2] It was eventually merged with the Sibiu - Brașov motorway (120 km), forming a 282-kilometre long A13 motorway. The route number A5 was since reserved for an eventual motorway between Bucharest and Giurgiu.
