Bhakta Prahlada (transl. Prahalada, the devotee) is a 1983 Indian Kannada-language Hindu mythological film directed by Vijay, and based on the tale of Prahalada. [1] The film stars Rajkumar, Saritha, Puneeth Rajkumar and Ananth Nag.
The music of the film was composed by the duo Rajan–Nagendra, with lyrics penned by Chi. Udaya Shankar. [11] The songs met with critical appreciation and were chartbusters, often considered to be one of the finest works of the Rajan–Nagendra duo. [12] The title song was remixed in Kanchana Ganga (2004) starring Shivrajkumar. [13]
