The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG), formerly known as the Department of Technical and Adult Education (DTAE), is the State of Georgia Government Agency which supervises the U.S. state of Georgia's 22 technical colleges, while also surveying the adult literacy program and economic and workforce development programs.
It is within western Georgia, about 45 miles (72 km) west of Atlanta near the Alabama state line, and is included in the Atlanta metropolitan area. It is the home of the University of West Georgia and West Georgia Technical College. In 2020, the city had a population of 26,738.

Coweta County / k aʊ ˈ iː t ə / is a county in the West Central region of the U.S. state of Georgia. It is part of Metro Atlanta. As of the 2020 census, the population was 146,158. [1] The county seat is Newnan. [2] Coweta County is included in the Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Roswell metropolitan statistical area.
Newnan is also home to a campus of West Georgia Technical College. [ 21 ] College Temple , a non-sectarian women's school, operated during the period of 1854–1888.
