The Mall at Millenia (commonly called The Millenia Mall or Millenia) is an indoor shopping mall located in Orlando, Florida just off of Interstate 4 (exit 78) at Conroy Road near the northern end of International Drive. The Village at Orange, formerly known as the Orange Mall and later as The Mall of Orange, was a small enclosed shopping mall located in Orange, California. [1] The mall, one of Orange's first, opened for consumer entry in 1971, and was composed of both internal merchants and external anchor tenant buildings, the original latter of which only Walmart remains operational.
The first operational store on the site was a 173,000-square-foot (16,100 m 2) Sears department store, which opened for business on October 30, 1963. [2] The mall was first announced in 1971 by developer Leonard L. Farber, who also developed Pompano Square (now Pompano Citi Centre) in Pompano Beach, Florida.
