Bethania is located in northwestern Forsyth County and is entirely surrounded by the city limits of Winston-Salem. It is 10 miles (16 km) northwest of the city center. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.69 square miles (1.8 km 2), of which 0.004 square miles (0.01 km 2), or 0.80%, is water. [9]
