FedEx SmartPost is utilized when it's more economical for low-weight packages to be delivered by the postal service when they will be visiting your house anyway. Adding "92" to the beginning of the FedEx tracking number is all it takes to format that number to one that works with the USPS tracking system.

I have several shipments being sent via FedEx SmartPost. If I track the shipments individually, the tracking number takes me to the FedEx website and I can see they will be arriving soon. However, if I login to my FedEx account, then proceed to Tracking --> Advanced Shipment Tracking. They do not appear on the dashboard at all.
There were no more scans until it arrived at my local post office the day before it was delivered. I am pretty sure you'll get it soon. If you don't have the USPS tracking number and putting a 92 before the FedEx one doesn't work, call FedEx and ask for the USPS tracking number.
FedEx smart post is basically USPS. It’s a hybrid service where you take it to FedEx and they just drop it off at the post office. I honestly normally just loophole it and take it straight to the post office myself and it takes some days off it. But on side note to that it sometimes can be so so with updating the tracking with Mercari.
So I ordered something on the 24th of March and the company sent my item by FedEx SmartPost. It was scanned on the 25th of March and on the 26th of March it stated that it Arrived in Indianapolis, IN.
