Raymond Neil Combs Jr. (April 3, 1956 – June 2, 1996) was an American stand-up comedian, actor and game show host. He began his professional career in the late 1970s. His popularity on the stand-up circuit led to him being signed as the second host of the game show Family Feud in its second run and first revival.
That same year he became the host of It's Showtime at the Apollo, which he continued as host until 1991. Dog Eat Dog is an American game show, which originally ran from June 17, 2002, to August 26, 2003. It was based on the British version of the show by the same name. It was hosted by Brooke Burns , and had contestants compete against each other in physical competitions, trivia, and other assorted games for a prize of $25,000.
